Each day 4,900 people die from water-borne illnesses. Most are children under the age of 4. For many homes in the Western world, safe drinking water is taken for granted. Imagine a life where what you drink for survival could ultimately kill you or someone you love.
Through the work of Canadian, Dr. Manz, we finally have practical hope of solving this dire issue. Dr. Manz created a system so simple, so elegant and so accessible that it can be produced anywhere in the world. The supplies needed are available world-wide and the cost is minimal.

Give Life!
Every day 4,900 people die from waterborne illnesses. Most are under the age of 5. To help prevent this, we have a goal of placing 100 waterfilters in the locations most in need. By placing the water filters in schools, orphanages, and medical centers (including HIV/AIDS Centers) throughout Kenya.
To help, you can donate and spread the word about the program. You can purchase a filter in someone else's name to give as a gift. For , a filter can be made and delivered to one of these vital locations. In return, you will receive a gift card you can give as a symbol of the gift you purchased in their name.
Each filter lasts at least 25 years. Filter production creates jobs and increases stability.
