We plan trips year-round. This year, we plan on three trips to install Water Filters in various parts in Kenya. | |

Winter TripIn early 2009, we will be going to the village of Otatai, located on the far west border of Kenya. There, in cooperation with Rotary groups in Kenya and Washington, we will create a water reservoir and produce water filters. It is not too late to join on this trip! You can be a part in person or through sponsorship. Please visit our contact page. We'd be happy to provide more information.

Summer Trips
These trip is still in the planning process. We have invitations for many new locations in Kenya. Each trip offers new sights and adventures. Early summer will lead use to the Natal Nadu region of India. Late summer will find us back in Kenya. They are sure to involve visiting locations where the Bio Sand Water Filters are already in production and visits to future sites. Usually, new locations are chosen as new training sites. Each trip depends on the amount of interest and support available at the time. If you are interested in either trip, please contact us. |

Fundraising Opportunities
There is nothing that bonds a group like a common goal, especially when that goal is guarenteed to help others in desperate need. We will gladly provide speakers, presentations or displays for your group. Some groups have taken on a BioSand Water Project as a Holiday giving project. Give Life!
Every day 4,900 people die from waterborne illnesses. Most are under the age of 5. To help prevent this, we have a goal of placing 100 waterfilters in the locations most in need. By placing the water filters in schools, orphanages, and medical centers (including HIV/AIDS Centers) throughout Kenya.
To help, you can donate and spread the word about the program. You can purchase a filter in someone else's name to give as a gift. For , a filter can be made and delivered to one of these vital locations. In return, you will receive a gift card you can give as a symbol of the gift you purchased in their name.
Each filter lasts at least 25 years. Filter production creates jobs and increases stability.
